Based on TOPSIS CBA basketball team strength statistical analysis

The shooting averages, 3-point field goal percentage, free throw percentage, averaging offensive rebounds, averaging defensive rebounds, averaging assists, averaging turnovers, averaging steals, averaging blocks, averaging foul and averaging scoring, all 11 indexes of all the 17 CBA teams in 2011-2012 season are comprehensively evaluated based on TOPSISmethod and the comprehensive strength of the 17 teams are ranked. The research results are consistent with the actual situation, reflecting the ranking of each teamÂ’s strength authentically. It demonstrates that the research of basketball teamsÂ’ comprehensive strength based on TOPSIS method has high reliability and significance.
